Enchanted Circle
Mutual Aid Hub

Welcome

The Enchanted Circle Mutual Aid Hub is here to help you! If you have a need or question, we are here to assist.

Please volunteer in our community, help with the emergency and recovery efforts, and/or donate to The Fund for Taos.

KEEP IT UP TAOS!

PHYSICAL DISTANCING IS WORKING

By following health guidelines to stay six feet apart and wearing a mask when you leave the house, you are helping stop the spread of the dangerous coronavirus in Northern New Mexico, and preventing a large outbreak that could overwhelm our healthcare system.

STAY SOCIALLY CONNECTED

We must stay apart during the coronavirus spread, but only physically. Stay socially connected with your family, friends, colleagues and classmates through online tools, by picking up the phone, or even mailing letters. Strong relationships and personal connections will help us all get through this difficult time together.

If you have an emergency, call 911.

If you have a need or question, contact us at:

Email your questions and needs to: info@ecmutualaidhub.org
You can leave a message at: 575-205-0045 - We will return your call within 24 hours.

How you can help:

An emergency action fund has been created at the Taos Community Foundation in response to COVID-19 and its effects. 100% of all contributions received will be deployed into the community as grants to nonprofit organizations.

About the Enchanted Circle Community Organizations Active in Disaster

Amidst the COVID-19 health emergency, the Enchanted Circle's public and private sector organizations have joined forces to form the Enchanted Circle Community Organizations Active in Disaster. The EC-COAD is made up of various private sector and non-governmental agencies, businesses, non-profits, faith-based groups and community leaders to foster effective preparedness, response and recovery for the people of the Enchanted Circle as needed.

This website, the Enchanted Circle Mutual Aid Hub, is meant to identify the unmet needs in the community and provide assistance to address those needs. It is sponsored by the EC-COAD.

The EC-COAD focuses support for our community by using:

  • Cooperation: creating a climate of cooperation at all levels of and in all phases of disaster, including information sharing and meeting.
  • Coordination: encouraging shared situational awareness, providing a liaison with town/country government officials, encouraging effective management and distribution of resources to address the unmet needs of community members.
  • Communications: publishing and disseminating evidence-based, verified information both for the benefit of member organizations and the public.
  • Collaboration: working together to achieve actionable goals and to undertake specific projects at disaster sites and form partnerships during the disaster response.
